The below chart is a basic outline of how to figure out what size Flex you have.. The measurements that are used to describe a piece of flex is the inside measurement of the pipe but there are times you cannot see the inside so here is a chart of the approximate outside diameters:
1/2" ID = 3/4" OD
3/4" ID = 1" OD
1" ID = 1 1/4" OD
1 1/2" ID = 1 7/8" OD
2" ID = 2 3/8" OD
