Global offers this replacement component as a 5 inch by 5 inch Flanged Heating Element rated at 5.5kw when operating at 230V or 1.375Kw when running at 115V, includes Gasket, O-Ring and mounting Bolts. This flanged heating component works in plastic heater assemblies for Brett Aqualine, Premier Allstate and Hot Water Products brands. This element also fits Vita Spa, Streamline and numerous other manufacturers. Design includes dual 5/16 inch Thermowells, 1/8 inch NPT Pressure switch tap, mounting hole for current collector bolt, and stud for Thermodisc attachment. The flange mounting holes measure 4 inches on center.
Troubleshooting Note: During testing, if this heating element triggers your circuit breaker, disconnect it and verify the breaker remains on. Reconnect and if the breaker trips again, the heating element requires replacement. For non-breaker related issues, use an Ohm meter across both terminals - proper resistance should read approximately 10.5K ohms. A reading of 0K indicates an open element. If your breaker doesn't trip and resistance tests normal, investigate alternative causes of heating failure such as: faulty Pressure Switch, clogged filter, inadequate water circulation, open control board circuit, etc.
