This listing includes one 1 1/2" Slip x 2" Heater Union fitting. This adapter fitting accepts a 1 1/2" pipe or connector on one end that has an outer diameter of approximately 1 7/8" OD, and threads onto a 2" Heater Flange Split Nut on the opposite end with an inner diameter of roughly 3" ID and an exterior diameter of 3" OD on the union body. Installation involves gluing to 1 1/2" pipe or slip fitting, then threading to a 2" heater flange connection. Please note: Global also carries heater unions in 1 1/2" Slip x 1 1/2" configurations and 2" Slip x 2" versions. This particular 1 1/2" x 2" adapter is designed for systems where your spa plumbing runs 1 1/2" diameter but your heater requires 2" connections. This configuration ranks as our second most common size, with 2x2 being the top seller. This component enables proper connection between your hot tub circulation system and the heater flange assembly.
