This complete assembly is a 1 1/2 inch heater split nut kit featuring the split nut component, gasket, and (2) mounting screws designed for 1 1/2 inch heater unions measuring approximately 2 3/8 inches outer diameter. The heater flange split nut securely fastens to your heater tube via 2 screws and threads onto your heater union with the included gasket positioned between union and tube. When both your plumbing and heater measure 1 1/2 inches, this kit provides the proper fit. This configuration ranks as the second most commonly used size, with 2 x 2 being most popular and 1 1/2 inch x 2 inch ranking third. This essential component connects heater tubes to heater unions in spa systems.
