This complete kit includes everything needed for TWO 2" Heater Connections: (2) split nuts, (4) mounting screws, (2) 2" Slip X 2" Thread unions, and (2) gaskets designed specifically for 2" heater installations. Each split nut attaches directly to your heater tube using 2 screws for secure mounting, then threads onto the heater union with a gasket creating a watertight seal. Verify your sizing: This fits 2" plumbing (measures 2 3/8" Outside Diameter) connecting to 2" heaters (measures 2" inside tube diameter with threaded section at 3" Outside Diameter). This configuration represents the most commonly used size. The 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 size ranks as second most common, followed by 1 1/2" X 2 as third.
