This package includes a complete set of TWO (2) 2" heater connection assemblies, each containing: one split nut, two screws, one 2" slip x 2" threaded union with gasket for 2" heater applications, plus one 2" slip x 2" street slice gate valve. The split nut component attaches directly to your heater tube using the included pair of screws, creating a secure mounting point. It then threads onto the union fitting with the gasket positioned between the union and heater tube for a watertight seal. Verify compatibility: Your plumbing should measure 2 3/8" outside diameter for 2" size, while your heater tube should measure 2" on the interior with threading that measures 3" outside diameter - this configuration represents the most commonly used size. Alternative dimensions include 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 (second most common) and 1 1/2" x 2 (third most common).
