This 5.5KW DuPont Teflon® Coated Flow Thru Heating Element operates on both 230V and 115V systems and includes the required bend configuration for Balboa M-7 heater tube installations. Compatible with Gecko, ACC, and most standard 15" long spa heater assemblies.
This Better-grade element represents the mid-tier option in our heating element lineup. We also stock a Good-grade Incoloy version and a Best-grade Titanium model offering enhanced resistance to chemical treatments and salt water systems.

Troubleshooting Tip: If breaker trips during testing, disconnect the element. Should the breaker remain stable, reconnect the element. Repeated tripping indicates element failure. Use an Ohm meter across terminals - proper reading is approximately 10.5K ohms. A 0K reading indicates an open circuit. For no-heat situations without breaker trips or open circuits, inspect pressure switch operation, filter condition, water circulation, and control board connections. Note that this model includes an integrated pressure switch which may require separate replacement.
