This 5.5KW Spa Heater Complete Assembly is designed for Jacuzzi Whirlpool control systems and arrives as a fully integrated unit containing the heating element, pressure switch, titanium element, and hi-limit safety switch.
Compatible Brands: Jacuzzi Whirlpool, Gatsby, Imperial, White Spring, Echo, Blue Ridge, Swift River, LBI (Leisure Bay Industries), and additional manufacturers using this configuration.
Troubleshooting Guide: If your heater trips the circuit breaker during testing, disconnect the unit and reset the breaker. If the breaker remains stable when unplugged but trips upon reconnection, the heater assembly requires replacement. For non-breaker issues, use an ohmmeter across the two terminals - a properly functioning unit reads approximately 10.5K ohms. A reading of 0K indicates an open circuit. If your breaker stays on and the ohm reading is normal, investigate alternative causes such as a faulty pressure switch, clogged filter cartridge, insufficient water circulation, or control board circuit problems. The pressure switch component is included with this assembly and is also sold separately in our store.
