Complete conversion kit designed to repair leaking 1" flexible pipe connections at jet bodies and fittings by upgrading to modern barbed seal technology. Kit includes: 4" length of 3/4" Inside Diameter clear tubing, (2) stainless steel clamps, (2) 1" Street x 3/4" Barb coupler fittings, and (2) 1" coupler connectors.
Installation Process: Remove the damaged section of old flexible pipe by cutting it away. Apply PVC cement to attach the included 1" couplers to your existing plumbing using the spin-weld method. Once set, glue the barbed fittings into the interior of the couplers. Connect both sides using the included clear tubing secured with the provided clamps.
Important Installation Tips: The clear tubing must be warmed using a hair dryer or heat gun to make it pliable enough to stretch over the barbed connections for a secure fit. Exercise extreme caution when applying heat near cemented joints as PVC adhesive is highly flammable. This repair kit transforms unreliable old-style pipe connections into durable, leak-free barbed connections that provide superior sealing performance.
