Description
This 1/2" plumbing repair kit provides a reliable solution for connecting existing 1/2" plumbing (measuring approximately 3/4" OD) to new pipe installations. The complete kit contains a 6" section of 1/2" flexible pipe with 3/4" OD plus a 1/2" coupler fitting. This repair kit is specifically designed for applications involving 1/2" manifolds, waterfall connections, and air control valve assemblies.
A version of this kit including adhesive and primer is also available separately for your convenience.
Important Installation Technique: When joining aged plumbing to new components, it's critical to attach a fitting to the existing pipe that can accept primer and adhesive, then rotate that fitting until it seats completely. This proven method prevents leaks from older plumbing that may have contracted over time and would otherwise seep if simply glued. After securing the new coupler, proceed with standard adhesive application methods for the remaining new plumbing connections.
