This replacement snap ring is engineered specifically for Pentair 5" diverter valves featuring a 4 3/4" wide cap. The snap ring secures beneath the valve cap edge and must be installed together with the appropriate o-rings for proper seal and function—it cannot be used independently.

This component is part of a valve series that is being phased out by the manufacturer, which means individual replacement parts have limited availability. Complete Your Repair: For full valve cap restoration, you may also need the Cap O-Ring for Pentair 5" Diverters, the Undercap Gasket for Pentair 5" Diverters, and the pair of Small Stem O-Rings (O-643) for Pentair 5" Diverters. All components work together to create a watertight seal.
Critical Sizing Notice: This snap ring is NOT compatible with 2" Waterway, Hydro-Air, or CMP 2" diverter valves that have caps measuring between 3 11/16" and 3 3/4" wide. Verify your cap measures 4 3/4" before ordering.
