Description
This adapter kit enables seamless integration between legacy 1/2" or 3/4" flexible tubing and contemporary barb-style spa plumbing components. The complete package includes 4 inches of 3/4" Inside Diameter clear tubing, two stainless clamps, and two 1" Street x 3/4" Barb coupling fittings. For 3/4" installations: trim the existing flex pipe, cement the supplied couplers using the spin-weld technique, then bridge connections using the included clear tubing secured with clamps. For 1/2" applications: utilize only one coupler and insert the 1/2" flex directly into the 3/4" clear tubing. Important installation notes: Gently warm the clear tubing with a hairdryer or heat gun to allow expansion over each barbed connection point. Exercise extreme caution when applying heat near adhesive areas as PVC cement is highly flammable. This transition kit provides a reliable solution for retrofitting older spa plumbing systems to accept modern threaded and barbed components without complete system replacement.
