We also carry this as part of a complete kit. Our recommended maintenance approach works with three components: Ingredient #1 is Chlorine Sanitizer - dosage depends on your spa capacity. For 500 gallon tubs use 8 teaspoons per week, 300-400 gallon tubs use 6 teaspoons per week, and under 300 gallons use 5 teaspoons per week. Ingredient #2 is Metal Control at 4 caps per week. Ingredient #3 is NON-Chlorine Shock - only apply on days when the spa is actually used, skip it on days you don't soak. If you use your tub all 7 days, apply #3 all 7 days. The key to success is establishing a routine - select one specific day each week to add #1 and #2 consistently.
Important: This maintenance plan assumes typical usage of approximately 2-4 soaking sessions weekly, around 20 minutes each. It won't be sufficient for heavy usage such as leaving the cover open for extended play sessions. You can adapt this approach for heavier use but will need significantly more product. This protocol is designed to maintain crystal clear water using the minimum effective amount of chemicals - nothing more, nothing less. We don't utilize pH adjusters or perform water testing. When followed consistently, this system delivers reliable results every time. Inconsistent application leads to failure every time.
Under 300 Gallons: (#1) 5 teaspoons per week, (#2) 4 caps per week, (#3) on usage days only.
300 to 400 Gallons: (#1) 6 teaspoons per week, (#2) 4 caps per week, (#3) on usage days only.
400 to 500 Gallons: (#1) 8 teaspoons per week, (#2) 4 caps per week, (#3) on usage days only.
