Troubleshooting Guide: If breaker trips during testing, disconnect the element. If breaker remains stable when unplugged but trips upon reconnection, the element is faulty. For non-tripping issues, test resistance between terminals using an ohm meter - proper reading should be approximately 14.5K ohms. A reading of 0K indicates an open circuit. If breaker functions normally and ohm reading is correct, investigate alternative causes such as pressure switch malfunction, clogged filtration, inadequate water circulation, or control board circuit problems.
