Del Ozone Check Valve 1/4" or 3/8" Barb 1/2 psi - Ozonator Protection Component (NLA)

This specialized check valve serves as a critical protective component for ozonator systems, preventing water backflow into the ozonator unit while permitting ozone gas extraction.

Operational function: Installed inline on tubing connected to a jet, nebulizer, or mazzie injector on the suction/air side. During pump operation, vacuum pressure is generated in the line, pulling ozone gas from the ozonator while simultaneously opening this valve. The valve's primary function is enabling ozone gas withdrawal while blocking water intrusion into the ozonator. Important: This valve only provides water protection when the pump is off. To verify proper valve operation, shut down the pump and inspect for water discharge from the valve or moisture inside the ozonator—either condition indicates valve failure. Warning: A failed valve may trigger GFCI breaker trips in properly wired systems, or potentially create dangerous water electrification in incorrectly wired installations.
