Description
This component package includes Two (2) Heater Unions with Gaskets - 1 1/2" Slip Side (approximately 2 3/8" ID) X 2" Threaded Side (approximately 3" OD). Each union accepts a 1 1/2" pipe or fitting on the slip end and connects via threading to a 2" Heater Flange Split Nut on the opposite end. The slip side bonds to 1 1/2" PVC pipe or fittings, while the threaded side fastens to 2" Heater Flange connections.
Be aware that alternative heater union configurations are available: 1 1/2" Slip X 1 1/2" Heater and 2" Slip X 2" Heater versions. This particular adapter set is designed for installations where your plumbing runs 1 1/2" but your heater requires 2" connections.
Among available configurations, this adapter version has moderate demand. The 2x2 configuration sells most frequently, followed by 1 1/2" X 2, with this threaded variant being less commonly required.
