Description
This ceramic-body slow blow fuse is designed for hot tub and pool system circuit boards. Rated at 0.5 Amp with MDA automotive-style construction, it measures 1 1/8" in length by 1/4" in width. Unlike glass fuses, the ceramic design provides superior heat dissipation but prevents visual inspection of the element. Testing requires a multimeter to check continuity across the terminals. These board-mounted fuses typically fail only during miswiring events or lightning strikes. Important: If this fuse has blown without either of those conditions present, your control system may have underlying electrical issues that require professional diagnosis beyond simple fuse replacement.
