Description
This 1HP Replacement Impeller is engineered for Waterway E-Series 48 Frame wet ends featuring 1 1/2" center discharge configuration, commonly found in above ground pool pumps and occasionally in hot tub applications. The impeller component installs between the face plate and volute housing of your E-Series wet end assembly. For optimal performance, we recommend replacing the pump seal simultaneously with impeller replacement.
Important: Verify your pump's configuration before ordering. If the spring component is located in the volute, this impeller will not be compatible. This particular Waterway impeller design is unique as it utilizes a different seal configuration than standard Waterway pumps - the spring portion of the seal is positioned on the rear of the impeller rather than in the volute.
