This replacement component is a 1/4" Air Bleeder Plug featuring coarse threads designed exclusively for older generation Sta-Rite Dura-Jet DJ Series wet end assemblies. This plug is prone to head separation, which leaves threaded portions lodged in the wet end housing. Removal is typically straightforward using a flat-head screwdriver to extract the remaining threads. Installation Tip: Apply silicone sealant to the center opening before installing the replacement plug to reduce pressure stress on the plug head and extend service life.
