Description
This component is a 2 1/2" Threaded x 1" Barb 90 Degree Heater Union designed for spa heating systems.
The fitting connects a 1" ID pipe on the barbed end and fastens to a 2 1/2" Heater Flange with a 2 1/2" Nut on the threaded side.
Compatible with heater assemblies installed in Blue Ridge Spas, Gatsby Spas, Imperial Spas, Heartland Spas, White Springs Spas, Luxury Spas, Cimmaron Spas, Swiftriver Spas, Members Mark Spas, Outdoor Spas.
Global also stocks alternative 2 1/2" heater union configurations including 2 1/2" thread x 2" Slip and 2 1/2" Thread x 2 1/2" Slip versions. When connecting 1 1/2" plumbing to a 2 1/2" heater, this fitting provides the proper solution. This configuration is the least common variant, while 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" unions are most frequently used and 2 1/2" x 2" versions rank second in popularity. This union enables proper connections for 3" heaters equipped with 2" flanges in spa applications.
