Description

This high-capacity 25 Amp Pressure Switch comes equipped with 1/8 inch MPT standard threading and dual spade terminals for simple two-wire electrical connections. Designed for universal compatibility, this pressure sensor works with Balboa, Gecko, ACC, Hydroquip, Len Gordon, Maddux, and most other standard spa heater assemblies. The exceptional 25 Amp rating makes this switch ideal for 115V plug-and-play configurations where the heater's hot wire passes directly through the switch mechanism. While typical air button pressure sensors only handle relay control wires drawing under 1 Amp, this heavy-duty model handles full current loads. These switches monitor water flow by responding to pump pressure—closing when circulation begins and opening when it stops. Failure modes include switches that won't close during pump operation or won't open when pumps shut down, resulting in either no heat conditions or dangerous overheating situations in most control systems. Before replacement, verify the actual switch failure by checking for other common causes of flow errors such as inoperative circulation pumps or clogged filter cartridges. This 25 Amp pressure switch provides maximum versatility—it functions perfectly in both high-amperage 25 Amp systems and low-current 1 Amp applications, whereas standard 1 Amp switches only work in low-current configurations.
