This 25 Amp Universal Pressure Switch Kit is designed to work with Balboa, Gecko, ACC, Hydroquip, Len Gordon, Maddux, and most standard spa heater systems. Features 1/8" MPT standard threads and includes 2 spade connectors for straightforward wire attachment.
Kit Includes Brass Adapters: Convert the 1/8" MPT connection to either a 1/8" barb fitting or compression fitting, providing versatile installation options for various hot tub configurations.
High-Capacity 25 Amp Rating: Unlike typical air button pressure switches that handle less than 1 Amp relay signals, this SPNO (Single Pole Normally Open) switch handles the full 25 Amp load. Ideal for 115V plug-in style systems where heater hot wire runs directly through the switch. Also compatible with standard 1 Amp relay systems, offering maximum flexibility.
Troubleshooting Common Issues: Pressure switches typically fail in two ways—either remaining open when the pump activates and creates pressure, or staying closed when the pump shuts off. Both failures result in no heat or overheat conditions with corresponding flow error codes. Before replacement, verify your pump operates properly and filter isn't clogged, as these can also trigger flow codes.
