Description
This replacement cover fits Waterway pressurized filter canisters featuring a top-load configuration. Measuring 6 1/4 inches wide at the lip, this lid incorporates a robust seal design with a thick O-ring that creates an airtight barrier against the interior rim of the filter housing. The integrated bleeder thumb screw with O-ring allows you to release trapped air from the canister following filter cartridge replacement or when refilling your spa with fresh water.
Important Product Information: This lid is prone to cracking at the center beneath the handle area, which can result in water leakage. Please be aware that the large sealing O-ring and air bleeder thumb screw are sold separately and not included with this component.
Compatible companion parts for proper installation include:
- Large sealing O-ring: 5-7/8 inch inside diameter, 3/16 inch cross section (fits select filter housings)
- Air bleed plug for Waterway in-line/top-load units: 3/8 inch male pipe thread, without O-ring
- Drain plug O-ring (universal fit for most drain plugs)
- Pressurized filter lock ring nut for Waterway top mount systems: 7 1/2 inch width, 6 1/8 inch opening
