Description
This emergency repair solution includes TWO (2) complete 2" Pump Union Split Nut Repair Kits. Each kit contains one split nut, two mounting screws, and one T gasket designed for 2" pump union applications. The split nut features approximately 3" internal diameter on the threaded end and roughly 2 3/4" ID on the mounting flange side. Installation requires two screws to secure the split nut to your existing pump union body, while the gasket creates a watertight seal between the union and pump threads. Confirm compatibility by verifying your pump union plumbing is 2" and pump threads are 2" (threaded section measures approximately 3" across). This configuration represents the most commonly used size. These kits allow emergency repairs for hot tub pump unions without replacing the entire union assembly and glued plumbing components. Installation requires removing the damaged original flange nut by carefully cutting with a hacksaw blade or cutting pliers - exercise caution to preserve the union body for reuse.
