Description
This is a genuine Waterway flapper tee air check valve featuring 1" Slip X 1" Slip connections on both ends. Designed for hot tub and spa applications, this directional valve permits air to flow one way while preventing water backflow when installed correctly. The internal adjustable flapper can be repositioned to control flow direction based on your plumbing configuration—simply flip the flapper to the appropriate side to determine which end connects toward your spa plumbing.
A common failure point for these valves is freeze damage causing the cap to crack. Since replacement caps aren't sold separately, this complete valve allows you to reuse your existing valve body while installing the fresh cap and flapper components.
