IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY NOTE: This heater assembly is NOT compatible with older SSPA boards featuring soldered-on tabs. If your board has the older soldered tab configuration, you must select the alternative heater model with nuts on the heater electrodes available separately in our store.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE: Common system indicators include 3 flashing dots on the topside control, which typically signals a flow code. However, 3 dots combined with a small red light on the lower right corner of the board indicates a high limit code, meaning the heater has overheated. High limit codes require a complete power cycle to reset. Potential causes include: stuck closed heater relay, combination of missing GFCI breaker protection with a compromised element causing ground shorts that keep the heater energized, faulty control board, or triggered high limit sensor.
