Global offers this adapter-style 1 1/2" Slip (approximately 1 7/8" ID) X 2" (approximately 3" OD on threads) Heater Union complete with Gasket. This union fitting accepts a 1 1/2" pipe or fitting on the slip end while threading onto a 2" Heater Flange Split Nut on the opposite end. The component glues to 1 1/2" Pipe or Slice connections and threads directly to 2" Heater Flange fittings. Please note: We stock additional configurations including 1 1/2" Slip X 1 1/2" Heater unions and 2" Slip X 2" Heater Unions. When your plumbing runs 1 1/2" but your heater requires 2" connections, this adapter union is your solution.
Among our three union styles, this configuration sees less demand compared to the 2x2 (most requested) and 1 1/2" X 2 (second choice). This component connects spa plumbing to heater flanges in hot tub systems.
