Description
This package includes one 1 1/2" Spigot X 1 1/2" Slip Slice Gate Valve paired with a 1 1/2" X 2" Heater Union complete with matching Gasket or O-ring. The valve features a 1 1/2" pipe connection on one end and a slip fitting on the opposite end. Installation involves slipping the valve into the 1 1/2" inlet of the heater union, then gluing and fastening to a 2" heater flange connection. Important: We also stock slice valves designed for pump unions, so verify your application. If your spa heater uses 1 1/2" plumbing with 2" split nut threads on the heater side, this is your correct replacement component. These isolation valves allow you to shut off water flow for heater or pump maintenance without completely draining your spa.
