Description
This complete assembly features a 2" Spigot X 2" Slip Slice Gate Valve Kit paired with a Jacuzzi® J Style Pump Union (includes O-ring) plus a 2" Coupler for permanent connection to existing 2" plumbing. The valve design accepts 2" pipe or fitting on the spigot end while the slip side fits inside 2" fittings. Installation involves slipping into the pump union and securing with adhesive and screws to your Jacuzzi® J Pump fitting. The included coupler allows proper installation using Purple Primer and Blue Glue for bonding to your existing plumbing. Installation tip: Always bond the coupler to existing plumbing first, rotating until fully seated. Verify placement carefully - we also stock slice valves designed for heater unions. If your installation location is at the pump with 2" plumbing and the pump wet end features beveled threads measuring 3" across, you have identified the correct component. Slice gate valves enable water flow isolation for pump or heater maintenance without complete spa drainage.
Important: This Jacuzzi® J pump union appears in various hot tub brands beyond Jacuzzi® including Blue Ridge, Gatsby, White Springs and numerous others - carefully compare photos before purchasing. This component is not compatible with Jacuzzi Premium Brand spas.
