Description
This complete assembly includes a pair of 2 inch Spigot X 2 inch Slip Slice Gate Valve Kits featuring Jacuzzi® J-Style Pump Unions with O-rings, (2) 2 inch Street x Slip Slice Gate Valves, and (2) 2 inch Couplers designed for connecting 2 inch plumbing directly to the slice valve. Each valve connects to a 2 inch pipe or fitting on one end while slipping into a 2 inch fitting on the opposite end. It installs inside the pump union and both glues and screws onto a Jacuzzi® J-Style Pump fitting. We provide the coupler union specifically so you can properly apply Purple Primer and Blue Glue when connecting this assembly to your existing plumbing. During installation, always attach the coupler to existing plumbing first, rotating it until fully seated. For proper identification: this slice valve attaches to the pump. If your plumbing measures 2 inches and your pump wet end threads are beveled measuring 3 inches across, you've found the correct replacement. These slice valves enable water shut-off for servicing your heater or pump without requiring full spa drainage.
