Description
This complete kit includes (2) Jacuzzi J-Style Pump Unions paired with 1 1/2" Slice Valves. Installation is straightforward: the 1 1/2" slice valve glues directly inside the J-style pump union, then your 1 1/2" pipe (approximately 1 7/8" OD) glues into the slice valve. These J-style pump unions accommodate 1 1/2" or 2" pipe or fittings on one end while threading directly onto Jacuzzi Brand J-Style Wet End (Pump) components. Important distinction: while we stock both J-style and standard 2" pump unions with similar 3" thread measurements, they are NOT interchangeable. The J-style union features a beveled mating surface at the 3" threaded connection point, whereas standard 2" unions have a flat mating surface at the same 3" measurement. If your spa plumbing uses 1 1/2" or 2" piping and your pump wet end is Jacuzzi J-Style, this kit is your correct replacement.
