Global offers the Tecmark Little General 3000 Series pressure switch rated at 25 Amps, constructed with stainless steel housing and plastic base. This model features 1/8" MPT standard threading and includes 2 spade terminals for electrical connections. Compatible with heater tubes from Balboa, Gecko, ACC, Hydroquip, Len Gordon, Maddux and other industry-standard manufacturers. The 25Amp rating makes this switch particularly suitable for 115V plug-and-play systems where heater hot wires pass directly through the switch mechanism. Standard air button pressure switches typically handle only relay activation wires drawing under 1 Amp. Common failure modes include switches failing to close during pump activation or failing to open when pumps shut down, resulting in no-heat conditions or overheat situations in most spa control systems. Before replacement, verify the switch is actually defective by confirming proper pump operation and clean filter condition, as these can also trigger flow error codes. This 25 Amp pressure switch functions in both high-amperage and low-amperage applications, whereas 1 Amp switches are limited to low-amperage relay systems only.
