Description
This component is a 1HP Aqua-Flo Complete Wet End Assembly featuring 2" x 2" ports (approximately 3" across threading) with side discharge configuration designed for 48 frame XP2 pump systems. Engineered for 48 frame motors rated at approximately 8.0 Amps High Speed for 230V configurations or 12.0 Amps High Speed for 115V with 1/4" thru-bolt design. Compatible with both single speed and dual speed motor types. Features rotational capability of 90 degrees for adjustable discharge positioning. Assembly arrives complete with: volute body, seal assembly, impeller, wear ring, suction cover, suction cover o-ring, drain plug with o-ring, and mounting screws.
For installations requiring a barb connection on the wet end face for small hose attachment, consider these adapter options with or without sealing compound. Silicon sealant recommended for these fittings as pipe tape performs poorly:

Important: Always select HP rating based on motor Amperage specifications per chart below. 48 frame motors measure approximately 5 1/2" across motor body with 1/4" thru-bolt heads spaced about 5 3/16" apart in cross pattern configuration, while 56 frame motors measure approximately 6 1/4" across with 5/16" thru-bolt heads spaced about 5 7/8" apart in cross pattern configuration.
