Description
This component is a full assembly 4HP Aqua-Flo 2" x 2" (measuring approximately 3" across threads) side discharge 48 frame wet end designed for XP2 pump systems. This assembly pairs with a 48 frame motor featuring approximately 14.0 Amps at high speed for 230V motor applications and is not compatible with 115v motors. Compatible motors include single speed or dual speed configurations. The discharge position can be adjusted 90 degrees by rotating the wet end assembly. Your complete assembly features: volute housing, seal assembly, impeller, wear ring, suction cover, suction cover o-ring, drain plug with o-ring, and mounting screws for suction cover.
Should you require a barb fitting for the wet end face where small diameter hoses attach, consider these options with or without sealant. We recommend using silicone for sealing as pipe tape performs poorly on these connections:

Important: Always select your HP rating based on motor amperage using the reference chart below. A 48 frame motor has a diameter of approximately 5 1/2" with 1/4" thru-bolt heads measuring roughly 5 3/16" between bolts in cross pattern, while 56 frame motors measure approximately 6 1/4" diameter with 5/16" thru-bolt heads measuring about 5 7/8" between thru-bolts in cross pattern.
