Description
This component is a Complete 1.5HP Aqua-Flo 2" x 2" (approximately 3" across thread diameter) side discharge 48 frame wet end assembly designed for XP2 pump systems. This wet end assembly pairs with a 48 frame motor operating at approximately 9.0 Amps high speed on 230V or 13.0 Amps high speed on 115V using 1/4" thru-bolt configuration. Compatible motors include both single and dual speed variants. The discharge position can be adjusted by rotating the wet end 90 degrees. This full assembly contains: volute housing, mechanical seal, impeller, wear ring, suction cover, suction cover o-ring, drain plug, drain plug o-ring, and mounting screws for suction cover.
For connecting a small diameter hose to the front wet end face, consider these barb fitting options with or without sealant. Silicon sealant is highly recommended for these fittings as pipe tape performs poorly:

Important: Always select horsepower rating based on motor amperage using the reference chart below. A 48 frame motor diameter measures approximately 5 1/2" across with 1/4" thru-bolt heads and roughly 5 3/16" between thru-bolts in cross pattern measurement, while 56 frame motors measure approximately 6 1/4" across with 5/16" thru-bolt heads and roughly 5 7/8" between thru-bolts measured in cross pattern.
