Description
This component is a full assembly 2HP Aqua-Flo wet end measuring 2" x 2" (approximately 3" across threading) with side discharge configuration designed for 48 frame XP2 pump systems. This assembly pairs with a 48 frame motor rated at approximately 10.0 Amps high speed operation on 230V motors or 16.0 Amps high speed on 115V motors using 1/4" thru-bolt design. Compatible with both single speed and dual speed motor configurations. Features rotatable design allowing 90-degree discharge positioning adjustment. Full assembly package contains: volute housing, seal assembly, impeller, wear ring, suction cover, suction cover o-ring, drain plug, drain plug o-ring, and all necessary suction cover mounting screws.
Should you require a barb fitting for the wet end front face where small diameter hoses connect, we offer these barb options with or without sealing compound. We recommend sealing these connections with silicone as pipe tape performs poorly on these style fittings:

Important: Always select HP rating based on your motor's amperage rating using the reference chart provided. A 48 frame motor measures approximately 5 1/2" diameter across the motor body, utilizes 1/4" heads on thru-bolt fasteners, and measures approximately 5 3/16" between thru-bolts when measured in cross pattern. A 56 frame motor measures approximately 6 1/4" across the motor body, uses 5/16" heads on thru-bolt fasteners, and measures approximately 5 7/8" between thru-bolts in cross pattern configuration.
