Specifications: Both the spring seal assembly (impeller mount) and ceramic/rubber component (volute insert) measure 1 1/4" across. Center bore diameter on both pieces: approximately 5/8". The spring-loaded portion mounts to the impeller shaft while the ceramic/rubber section inserts into the volute or wet end housing. Installation tip: Apply silicone sealant to the impeller shaft before gently sliding the spring seal into position. A thin layer of silicone on the rubber component helps ease installation into the volute or wet end body. Additional impellers and silicone sealant available in our store.
