Global offers the premium PS-3867 pump seal featuring Viton Carbon Graphite construction, engineered as an enhanced alternative to the PS-200 seal. This superior seal delivers exceptional resistance to salt water and ozone environments, making it ideal for modern spa systems.
Primary Compatibility: Designed for Aqua-Flo wet ends and Waterway "Viper" wet ends. The PS-3867 measures 1 1/4 inches across both the spring seal component and the ceramic/rubber section. Each component features an approximately 5/8 inch center opening.
Two-Part Assembly: The spring-loaded portion mounts directly onto your impeller shaft, while the ceramic and rubber component fits securely into the volute or wet end housing.
Installation Guidelines: Apply silicone sealant to the impeller shaft before carefully positioning the spring seal component. The rubber section also benefits from a thin layer of silicone for smooth installation into the wet end body. Additional silicone sealant and replacement impellers are available through Global.
Important Application Note: This PS-3867 seal is exclusively used in Waterway "Viper" and EX2 wet end models. Other Waterway wet end configurations require the Better 1000 seal design.
