Description
The PS-2131 shaft seal is engineered for Hayward Power-Flo, Power-Flo LX, and Power-Flo II pump systems, plus Aqua-Flo TMCP bath tub style units and Aqua-Flo Flo-Master FMVP vertical mount pump wet ends.
This dual-component seal features a spring-loaded assembly and a ceramic-rubber element, each measuring approximately 1 1/4" across. Both components feature a 5/8" center bore designed to fit standard impeller shafts.
The spring seal component mounts directly onto your impeller shaft, while the ceramic-rubber section installs within the volute or wet end housing. Each part measures roughly 1 1/4" in diameter at the seal face.
For proper installation, apply silicone sealant to the impeller shaft before carefully pressing the spring seal into position. A thin layer of silicone on the rubber component helps it slide smoothly into the volute body. Global carries compatible impellers and installation supplies to complete your pump maintenance.
