This comprehensive Waterway Executive 1 HP 56 Frame 2" X 2" Wet End Assembly arrives complete with everything needed for installation: Screws, Volute, Impeller, Seal, Face Plate, Wear Ring, Bleeder Barb, and Silicone.
The included Bleeder Barb substitutes for one of the standard plugs, allowing easy reconnection of your existing 3/8" bleeder hose from your original pump configuration.
Frame Identification: Distinguishing between 48 and 56 Frame wet ends depends on motor through-bolt spacing. For 56 Frame units (like this model), bolts measure 4 1/8" apart or 5 3/4" in an X pattern, while 48 Frame versions measure 3 5/8" apart or 5 3/16" in an X pattern.
Amperage Compatibility: This 1 HP wet end pairs with motors drawing approximately 8.0 Amps at 230V or 12.0 Amps at 115V. Check your motor label for amperage ratings—for two-speed pumps, you'll see dual values like 10.0/3.5 (high speed listed first).
Critical Note on Horsepower: Always rely on amperage rather than the horsepower listed on your motor.
