This complete 2 HP 56 Frame Waterway Executive wet end assembly with 2 1/2" X 2" plumbing connections includes everything needed: Screws, Volute, Impeller, Seal, Face, and Wear Ring. Frame size identification: 48 Frame motors measure 3 5/8" between thru bolts or 5 3/16" in X pattern, while 56 Frame motors measure 4 1/8" between bolts or 5 3/4" in X pattern. This wet end is designed for pumps drawing approximately 10.0 Amps at 230V or 16.0 Amps at 115V.
Important: The front suction side fitting on this wet end measures approximately 3 5/8" edge to edge, which is larger than standard 2" union fittings that measure 3" edge to edge. Verify your existing wet end has this oversized suction fitting before purchasing.
To determine correct horsepower, check the motor label amperage (not the HP rating). For dual-speed pumps, use the higher amperage number. Amperage guide: 8.0A = 1 HP, 10.0A = 2 HP, 12.0A = 3 HP, 14.0A = 4 HP, 16.0A = 5 HP. Always rely on amperage ratings rather than horsepower claims, as manufacturers often overstate HP specifications. Calculate your actual electrical load to ensure proper sizing: two pumps plus heater must stay within your breaker capacity.
