Description
This complete set includes (2) 1 1/2" Spigot X 1 1/2" Slip Gate Slice Valves plus (2) 1 1/2 X 2" Heater Unions with Gaskets. Each valve features a 1 1/2" spigot connection that accepts pipe or fittings measuring approximately 1 7/8" OD on one end, while the opposite slip side fits inside 1 1/2" fittings. The assembly slips into the 1 1/2" inlet of the heater union and bonds to a 2" heater flange fitting (approximately 3" OD) using both adhesive and screws. Important: This configuration differs from pump union slice valves - verify your application carefully. If your spa connects to the heater using 1 1/2" plumbing with 2" heater split nut threads, you've found the correct components. These isolation valves allow convenient heater or pump maintenance without completely draining your spa water.
