Description
This component is a full assembly 3HP Aqua-Flo 2" x 2" (approximately 3" across thread diameter) side discharge 48 frame wet end designed for XP2 pump systems. This wet end assembly pairs with a 48 frame motor operating at approximately 12.0 Amps on high speed with 230V power supply and is not compatible with 115v motors. Compatible with both single speed and dual speed motors. Discharge orientation can be adjusted 90 degrees for positioning flexibility. This complete assembly contains: volute housing, mechanical seal, impeller, wear ring, suction cover, suction cover o-ring, drain plug with o-ring, and all mounting screws.
For installations requiring a barb fitting on the wet end face where auxiliary hose connects, consider these barb options with or without sealant. Recommendation: Use silicon sealant for these fittings as pipe tape does not provide adequate seal:

Important: Always select HP rating based on motor amperage using chart below. 48 frame motors measure approximately 5 1/2" across motor body with 1/4" thru-bolt heads and approximately 5 3/16" between thru-bolts in cross pattern. 56 frame motors measure approximately 6 1/4" across motor body with 5/16" thru-bolt heads and approximately 5 7/8" between thru-bolts in cross pattern.
