Description
This complete kit includes two 1 1/2" Spigot X 1 1/2" Slip Gate Slice Valves paired with two 1 1/2" Heater Unions, complete with matching Gaskets or O-rings for each union. Each valve accepts a 1 1/2" pipe or fitting on the spigot end while the slip side inserts into a 1 1/2" fitting. The slip end fits directly into the heater union and both glues and screws onto a 1 1/2" heater flange fitting. This configuration is typically installed in 115v plug-in hot tub systems. Verify your heater flange measures approximately 2 3/8" across the heater tube flange end. Please note we also stock slice valves with pump unions, so confirm your application—if connecting to your heater with 1 1/2" plumbing and the heater split nut threads are 1 1/2", this kit is the correct choice. These components allow you to isolate water flow for servicing your heater or pump without the need to drain your entire spa.
