Description
This comprehensive service kit includes (2) 1 1/2" Spigot X 1 1/2" Slip Slice Gate Valves paired with (2) 1 1/2" Pump Unions complete with matching Gaskets or O-Rings. Each valve features 1 1/2" pipe connections: one spigot end accepts 1 1/2" pipe or fittings (approximately 1 7/8" outer diameter), while the slip end inserts into 1 1/2" fittings (approximately 1 7/8" inside diameter). The assembly slides directly into the pump union for secure gluing and threading to 1 1/2" pump fittings. Verify your application carefully—this configuration attaches to the pump side of your spa plumbing. If your system features 1 1/2" plumbing with 1 1/2" pump wetend threads, you've found the correct component. Common in spas with 2" heater configurations, so always confirm pump union thread dimensions before ordering. These isolation valves allow convenient pump and heater maintenance by stopping water flow without requiring full tub drainage.
