This comprehensive kit includes a precision-engineered impeller plus seal and one bearing designed specifically for Aqua-Flo 48 or 56 frame wet end configurations operating with 1.5HP motors drawing approximately 9.0 Amps at 230 volts. The impeller component measures 2 1/8 inches at the eye width, features a 5/16 inch vane width, and has a 4 inch outer diameter.

This impeller installs between the face plate and volute housing of Aqua-Flo XP2 or FMXP2 wet end assemblies. The kit utilizes a PS-200 style seal, which we strongly recommend replacing whenever the impeller is changed to ensure optimal performance and prevent leaks.
IMPORTANT BEARING COMPATIBILITY NOTE: This bearing features a 17mm center hole. Some Aqua-Flo pump motors utilize a 16mm bearing center hole instead. Please verify your motor's bearing size before ordering, as 16mm bearings are not available in kit form from Global.
Frame Identification Guide:
Determine your frame type by measuring motor through-bolt spacing:
- 48 Frame: 3 5/8" between bolts or 5 3/16" diagonal (X pattern) with 1/4" bolt heads
- 56 Frame: 4 1/8" between bolts or 5 3/4" diagonal (X pattern) with 5/16" bolt heads
Motor Amperage Reference Chart for Proper Impeller Selection:
- 115V motors with 1HP impeller: 11-12.0 Amps on high speed
- 230V motors with 1HP impeller: ~8.0 Amps on high speed
- 230V motors with 1.5HP impeller: ~9.0 Amps on high speed
WARNING: Never install an oversized impeller assuming it will increase pump performance. Installing an incorrectly sized impeller will cause motor overheating, excessive current draw, and premature motor failure. Always match the impeller horsepower rating to your motor's actual specifications using the amperage readings as your guide.
