Frame Size Identification: The 56 frame design uses motor through-bolt spacing of 4 1/8" center-to-center, or 5 3/4" measured diagonally in an X pattern. This differs from 48 frame units which measure 3 5/8" center-to-center or 5 3/16" diagonally.
Correct HP Identification by Amperage: This 2 HP wet end matches pumps drawing approximately 10.0 amps at 230V or 16.0 amps at 115V. For accurate sizing, always reference the amperage rating on your motor label rather than the horsepower rating. On dual-speed motors, locate both amp ratings (example: 10.0/3.5).
