This comprehensive replacement kit includes a premium quality impeller featuring a 2 1/8 inch eye width, 7/16 inch vane width, and 4 3/8 inch outer diameter. Designed specifically for Aqua-Flo 48 or 56 frame wet end assemblies paired with 3.0HP motors. The motor draws approximately 12.0 amps on high speed when operating at 230 volts.
The impeller installs between the face plate and volute housing of your XP2 or FMXP2 wet end configuration. This kit utilizes PS-200 seal components for reliable, leak-free performance.
Important Selection Guide: For 115 volt systems, a 1 HP impeller typically draws 11-12.0 amps at high speed, while 230 volt systems draw approximately 8.0 amps on high. Consult the amperage reference chart to verify proper horsepower rating. Installing an oversized impeller will cause motor overheating and potential damage rather than improving performance.
Frame Identification: The 48 frame features 3 5/8 inch spacing between motor through-bolts (5 3/16 inch diagonal X pattern) with 1/4 inch bolt heads. The 56 frame has 4 1/8 inch spacing between bolts (5 3/4 inch diagonal X pattern) with 5/16 inch bolt heads.
Note: A 2 HP impeller on 115 volt systems draws 15-16.0 amps at high speed, while 230 volt configurations draw approximately 10.0 amps on high speed. Always match impeller specifications to your existing motor requirements.
