This comprehensive replacement kit includes a 4.0 HP impeller, shaft seal, and two bearings designed for Aqua-Flo XP2 and FMXP2 wet end assemblies. The impeller features precise dimensions: 2 1/8 inch eye width, 1/2 inch vane width, and 4 1/2 inch outer diameter, engineered for optimal performance with 48 or 56 frame configurations.
Motor Specifications: Compatible with 4.0 HP motors operating at approximately 14.0 amps on high speed at 230 volts. This kit is designed to fit securely between the face plate and volute housing of your Aqua-Flo pump assembly.
Critical Bearing Specification: These bearings feature a 17mm center hole. Please verify your motor shaft diameter before ordering, as some Aqua-Flo pumps utilize 16mm bearings. We do not stock 16mm bearing kits, so accurate measurement is essential.
Frame Identification Guide: The 48 frame features 3 5/8 inch spacing between motor through-bolts (5 3/16 inch diagonal X pattern) with 1/4 inch bolt heads. The 56 frame has 4 1/8 inch spacing (5 3/4 inch diagonal X pattern) with 5/16 inch bolt heads.
Important Amperage Reference Chart: 115V motors using 1 HP impellers draw 11-12.0 amps on high speed; 230V versions draw approximately 8.0 amps on high. Never install an oversized impeller—doing so will cause motor overheating and damage rather than improving performance. Always match impeller size to your motor's horsepower rating using the amp draw as your guide.
